The Ronald McDonald House is a 24 hour, seven day a week operation. With only three full time employees, the house needs all of the man power it can get. There are volunteer shifts all hours of the day. In order to volunteer go to our sign up form or contact Lynn our volunteer coordinator.

Prepare A Meal

The smell of home cooking is one way to really help the Ronald McDonald House feel like home. Anyone is welcome to contact our office and sign up to cook dinner or bake cookies.

Join An Event Planning Committee

The Ronald McDonald House tries to plan a fundraising event each quarter and always is looking for some fresh perspective on how to make their events better. If you think you can help to make take a look at our events calendar and contact Joseph Bischof to learn more about how you can help.

Donate Items from Our Shopping List

The house has started formulating a shopping list that goes out with their monthly newsletter. If you have something on this list that you can donate or if you want to buy the item and drop it off at the house, it is a great way to help the organization save some time and money. Sponsor A Night

It costs the house $50.00 per night per family to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. You can help the house out by sponsoring a night at the house for $50.00. If you go to the sponsor a night page on the website, you can choose to sponsor one night or even set up an account and sponsor nights on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly basis. This is the perfect way to give back even if you don’t have the time to come in and volunteer.

The new site makes the Ronald McDonald House more accessible to potential donors and volunteers. The sites make it easy for volunteers to access schedules and sign up for shifts. In addition, donors are able to make donations online and instantly receive a receipt. The new network of sites also includes virtual tours of the family rooms and both houses as well as an up-to-date blog and events calendar to keep the public informed of what’s happening within the organization.

Some other additions to the Ronald McDonald House Digital Strategy Include:

• Social media integration into the sites.
• Custom Facebook tabs for upcoming events.
• Analytical research to measure the success of the initiative.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Montana has been in operation since 1979. In 2006 the organization opened the Missoula location on land donated by Community Hospital. The charity supports families from all over the world, but most families are from Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. The Missoula location maintains over a 90 percent occupancy rate.
